Pole Inspection Crews in Putnam, Hamilton Counties

Contract crews from Southeast Woodland are beginning power pole inspections for VEC in the Monterey area of Putnam County on Friday, December 27 and on Saturday, December 28.

Crews will also be starting inspections in the Harrison bay area of Hamilton County beginning  Monday, December 30.

Crews will be working out of pickup trucks and in some cases on ATV four-wheelers. These inspections will allow VEC to identify poles that may need replacement as we continually work to make system improvements. It will not be necessary for customers to be at home as the inspections are conducted and power will not be affected by these inspections.
