Pole Inspectors Moving to McMinn County

Contract crews from Southeast Woodland are beginning power pole inspections for VEC in the Sanford area of south McMinn County January 20th. Crews are also finishing up work in the Harrison Bay area of Hamilton County and the MOnterey area of Putnam County.

Crews will be working out of pickup trucks and in some cases on ATV four-wheelers. These inspections will allow VEC to identify poles that may need replacement as we continually work to make system improvements. It will not be necessary for customers to be at home as the inspections are conducted and power will not be affected by these inspections.
